House Rules

A free printable from the Bourbon & Rum Podcast – for anyone tired of partisan bickering and ready to find the human being across the table.

We made this because we believe something simple and increasingly rare:

You can sit down with someone who sees the world differently than you do, share a drink, and actually talk, not perform, not score points, not win. Just talk.

The House Rules are how we do it on Bourbon & Rum. Now they’re yours too.

Print it out. Hang it in your home bar, your kitchen, your office. Leave it somewhere it’ll start a conversation. Give it to someone who needs it. That’s the idea.

No email required. No strings. Just print it and pass it on!

House Rules

This establishment is for skeptics, seekers, and folks who realize they’ve only been hearing one side of the story. If that is you, pull up a chair.

  • Share drinks like it’s a ritual.
  • Seek understanding. We aren’t here to score points or win arguments.
  • Keep it civil. Claim your truth, but don’t degrade others.
  • Never question the goodwill of the person across the table, even as you tear apart premises, question strategies, and poke holes in the establishment.
  • Don’t blame the system for a culture of division that we help build every day.

Human connection over partisan bickering. Welcome to the table.
